McKenzie Equipment
Since 1960, McKenzie Equipment Company has provided one-stop solutions for high quality air compressors, vacuum and related products. McKenzie provides the facilities, inventory, technology, equipment, parts and customer support necessary to implement and service quality compressed air systems.  McKenzie depends on CAP5 as its full service I.T. Department, responsible for supporting WAN communication between remote locations (Houston, San Antonio, Waco, Corpus Christi) and providing LAN, server infrastructure and application support across their enterprise.

Altair Strickland 

Altair Strickland is a specialty mechanical contracting company executing turnarounds and providing emergency repair services to refining, petrochemical, fertilizer, power industries and gas plants for over thirty years. CAP5 has been providing network and system support services for Altair Strickland since late 2003.  In 2004, CAP5 developed an application for Altair Strickland that provides both Human Resource database services and a hiring process tool suite for their internal and contract work force.  In 2005, CAP5 designed and developed a Disaster Recover solution for Altair Strickland that provides redundant services in the CAP5 data center in the event that Altair Strickland's network services are interrupted.

City of Houston
The City of Houston's Public Works and Engineering Department has relied on CAP5 to install, maintain and upgrade the primary software application supporting the Utility Maintenance and Water and Wastewater operations.  The Infrastructure Management System (IMS) is a work order management system with a dynamic web based module for the field workers and engineers.  Using this IMS module, the field teams are able to query and update wirelessly the service requests and work orders generated by either citizen requests through the City of Houston's “311” system, by inspectors, or by workers themselves.  The system is also used to catalog preventive maintenance in water, sewer, storm lines, fire hydrants, etc. via multiple, integrated Oracle back-end database. The web based system displays the actual location of the different lines and problems throughout the fourth largest city in the United States in full-color geographic maps generated on the fly by ESRI's ArcSDE server.

City of Sugar Land
CAP5 assisted the City of Sugar Land, TX, with the functional design, programming and implementation of their municipal website. The site provides sections for all City departments and a Web Content Management ability so authorized city employees can self-manage content for which their departments are responsible. CAP5 provided a software tester/developer on-site for the duration of the project, directed by City personnel who managed daily work activities
CAP5 also provided computer application and database expertise to build a Web-based vendor registration system to comply with Texas House Bill 914 (Conflict Of Interest), which posted to the internet, in a searchable format, the CIQ and CIS forms. The application provides the ability for City Officials, Vendors and Public Entities to create an account, provide a digital signature, complete web-based CIS and CIQ forms, upload PDF documents and view, update and manage related personal information. Users can retrieve forgotten user names, passwords, and PINs. Assigned City employees can review and manage the HB914 compliance process and manually updating the AS/400-based HTE vendor/contract management system. Emails are sent to notify registered/non-compliant users and NIGP groups.

The C&M Inventory Management System (IMS) is a comprehensive inventory management and distribution tool supporting all facets of the mid-tier Moving and Storage enterprise.  The Web application resides on managed servers in the CAP5 Houston Data Center.  IMS coordinates critical information across the entire business life-cycle:  from the moment orders are placed, through pick up, tracking to a destination, and to ultimate delivery.  IMS provides the real-time ability to understand what is where, who it belongs to, and where it is headed.  Items are bar-coded and digital pictures may be attached.  End-customers have the ability to view detailed data via secure user accounts, and can designate items to be moved into and out of inventory via pre-scheduled ‘pick lists’ for point-to-point delivery on future dates

Woodland Blinds is one of the largest private-label manufacturers of custom-made wooden window blinds, shutters and shades in the U.S., supplying product to distributors, contract dealers, retail chains, catalogs, and architectural specifiers. CAP5 provides full outsourced I.T. services, including performing weekly on-site maintenance and support. Our network engineer set up a VPN network between facilities, and installed and maintains Veritas Backup Exec. We also manage the company’s website.

Houston Networking News
Houston Networking News (HNN) Event Database is a highly dynamic Web-based application coordinating communication between almost 21,000 HNN customers.  The application sales and marketing event coordinators and participants to easily access information on 500+ networking events held each month across Greater Houston.  Data is cataloged and scheduled using an Event Calendar.  Email reminders of upcoming events can be requested.  Advertising opportunities are automated and presented via marketing banner ads and hot links. Subscription services are made available and paid for online using automated merchant services.  Custom newsletters are supported for customers based on demographic and subscription types and preferences

US Datalink
US Datalink has been a leader in the employment screening and background investigation industry for 20 years.  CAP5 managed the specification, development, testing and roll-out of a Web application to automate their background investigation and reporting services.  Our SQL application includes online registration for customers and court researchers / data retrievers nationwide.  It provides streamlined electronic order placement, payment & tracking utilities, and work-flow automation ensuring timely and complete delivery of products to the customer.  The Admin Utility allows configuration and review of all data elements, and provides predefined and custom report generation.  Our Web application helps US Datalink clients manage risks by providing thorough and accurate data, custom solutions and rapid completion of the screening process enabling quicker hiring decisions

CAP5 serves as the outsourced Systems Integrator for American Tube Products, a leading provider of instrumentation products and solutions to customers in the petrochemical, offshore drilling, engineering and contracting business.  CAP5 designed, built and integrated a new Microsoft Small-Business-Server (SBS) computer network for the company, including Veritas backup utility; MS Outlook CRM application and Blackberry support. CAP5 also provides ongoing maintenance and support, and remote network monitoring to ensure server availability.

Team Industrial Services
Team Industrial Services, Inc. (TISI) is a leading provider of pressurized oil and gas pipeline systems, and has the largest maintenance network in the industry, with more than 70 locations serving 2000 customers. CAP5 provided consulting services to design and execute the successful deployment of 15-servers and 170-desktops & laptops across TISI branch locations over a three-month time frame.  While ensuring minimal impact to office operations, CAP5 technicians accepted computers on-site and worked with the Branch Managers to load business applications based on unique end-user needs.  We connected machines to the network, tested to ensure functionality, and migrated data and profiles from the old computers. Old systems were decommissioned and package for shipment back to HQ. CAP5 brought the project in 38% faster than forecast, and under-budget by a factor of 18%. TISI utilizes CAP5’s On-site Service Support Program to provide remote branches with a 4-hour on-site response for servers and next-business-day response for desktops and peripherals.
